Eckford Sweet Peas is a climbing plant developed by Mr. Eckford in the 19th century.

Born in Stenhouse, Scotland, in 1823, Mr Eckford spent much of his career as a gardener on various estates in Scotland and England.

They continue work 17 years until death in December 1905, and this year received the Victoria Medal of Honor and he from the Royal Horticultural Society.
